Ciao Bella

Two months ago (the time flies like crazy) I had the chance to visit Milan for couple of days. The city is amazing and we enjoyed our stay even though it was freezing cold. If you´re planning to visit Milan, be sure to check out Da Vinci´s Last Supper (don´t forget to purchase the tickets in advance). It´s definitely one of the top attractions in Milan together with Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. I would also highly recommend you to buy DK Eyewitness Travel guide, it´s really easy to use and I never travel without it. You can buy it here. 

Pred dvoma mesiacmi (ten čas tak letí) som mala možnosť stráviť niekoľko dní v Miláne. Mesto je úžasné a aj napriek hroznej zime sme si výlet užili. Ak plánujete navštíviť Miláno, určite si nenechajte ujsť Da Vinciho Poslednú večeru (vstupenky si nezabudni kúpiť vopred). Je to bezpochyby jedna z hlavných turistických atrakcií spolu s Duomom a Galériou Vittorio Emanuele II. Rovnako by som vám odporučila kúpiť si ilustrovaného sprievodcu Spoločník cestovateľa, bez ktorého nikdy necestujem. Anglickú verziu si môžete kúpiť napríklad tu, v češtine ich vydáva Ikar.

Každá krajina potrebuje múzeum dizajnu, rovnako ako Slovensko. Nenechajte si ujsť výstavu v priestoroch Hurbanových kasární v Bratislave. 

Krásne video s jednoduchým postupom na výrobu trička inšpirovaného tričkom, ktoré navrhol Phillip Lim. Určite tento DIY nápad vyskúšam.

Super nápad na pekné darčekové balenie - použite čerstvé kvety a bylinky na ozdobenie.

Guys, I´ve been thinking about making a new blog section for quite some time now. During a week it´s not possible to make a post about everything that catches my attention. That´s a pity. Don´t you think? So, I told myself that every Friday (or Saturday) I´ll post weekend reading tips for you. These may include different articles, links, DIY ideas or just tips for a weekend. I´m still considering a name for this section (your suggestions are welcome) but for now, let´s just call it Weekend Reading. Stay tuned for the first post.

Dlho som zvažovala vytvorenie novej sekcie na blogu. Počas týždňa nemám väčšinou čas, aby som mohla napísať príspevok o všetkom, čo ma zaujme. Je to škoda, nemyslíte? Tak som si povedala, že každý piatok (prípadne sobotu) napíšem post, v ktorom zhrniem to najlepšie z daného týždňa - články, linky, prípadne typy na víkend. Stále vymýšľam názov pre túto sekciu (vaše nápady sú vítané), ale zatiaľ ju nazvem Weekend Reading. Už teraz sa môžete tešiť na prvý príspevok.   

Flower power

It´s already April, but there is still no sign of Spring. While waiting for the Spring to come (hurry up, please), I love to buy fresh flowers to brighten up these gloomy days. I recommend you to do the same. Tulips are my favorite ones. What´s your favorite flower? Do you have any other tips how to overcome bad weather?  

Je apríl, ale vonku zatiaľ ani náznak jarného počasia. V tomto období mám obzvlášť rada čerstvé kvety, ktoré mi vždy zlepšia náladu. Spríjemnite si aj vy čakanie na jar (dúfam, že už nepotrvá dlho) kyticou čerstvých kvetov. Tulipány patria medzi moje najobľúbenejšie kvety. Aké máte radi vy? Poznáte nejaké iné typy ako bojovať s týmto počasím?
